The Operate Support Equipment course provides practical, hands-on training to ensure you can safely operate support equipment on active worksites. You’ll learn how to:

  • Identify hazards associated with support equipment operation
  • Apply WHS legislation and site-specific operating procedures
  • Conduct pre-start inspections and equipment checks
  • Operate support equipment safely and efficiently
  • Monitor operating conditions and identify potential faults
  • Apply effective control measures to minimise risk
  • Shut down, secure, and maintain equipment correctly

By the end of the course, you’ll be confident operating support equipment in accordance with workplace and regulatory requirements.

Training Delivery & Assessment

To provide the best learning experience, this course is delivered using a blended learning model combining online theory with face-to-face practical training. You’ll be supported throughout the course by an experienced Trainer Assessor.

Step 1 - Online Theory (within 30 days)

Step 2 - Face-to-Face Training
